Pradha Guest House and Restaurantsa consist of small number of exclusive rooms to be built on the palace grounds, to offer to his guests so that their stay in Bali would be spent in comfort and with all the amenities that they would require. The six charming rooms are furnished with care in a uniquely modern yet traditional décor, complete with private bathroom, air conditioning, personal refrigerator and mini bar. Telephone with international direct access, for those calls to family and loved ones, can be found, and of course a plentiful supply of hot water (always a welcome luxury to help refresh and relax after a day spent traipsing through rice fields and temples). Attached in front of each room is a cool marble tiled and stone pillared veranda, perfect for retreating to take shelter in and watching the warm, sweet smelling tropical rains sheet down, perhaps while enjoying a drink or fresh juice safely brought to you in your little refuge. Pradha Restaurant is open to provide palace guests with dining of international standards. We have available from our kitchen a great many fare, from delicious traditional Indonesian cuisine to western and continental favorites. A must to try is our Balinese specialty of Bebek Tutu, or smoked duck. Cooked as in the village manner for twenty four hours in a wrap of banana leaves, and served atop a freshly lain bed of colourful and steaming tomatoes, greens and rice, it is a treat not to be missed. The freshest of fish and seafood, brought direct from the many little blue and red stripped boats dotting along the coast of the island are always available, and European dishes such as Chicken Cordon Blue and pastas go together to make up our varied menu. As we try to accommodate and please all our guests, a selection of vegetarian delights are also included. And don't forget our afternoon tea set, where you can choose from a variety of local Balinese teas, which are always served with the most delicious of cakes.
Pradha Guest House and Restaurants Bar
Downstairs from the Restaurant is Pradha's Bar. This cozy and beautifully constructed stone room is at your call, whether for a mid-day refreshment or a late night nightcap. It's a great place to sit and lounge the hours away while watching the relaxed comings and goings of Balinese life, unfolding before and past you through the winding and shadowy lane out front. We keep our bar fully stocked in the finest of imported spirits, wines and liqueurs, as well as the locally made palm and rice wines of arak and brem, for those seeking a little adventure!
